from Glenmont Metro and downtown Silver Spring (approx 7 miles in either case)

From Glenmont Metro Station, exiting the “Kiss and Ride” section.

1. Make a right on to Glenallen Road.
2. Cross Layhill Road continuing to Randolph Road and make a left.
3. Continue to follow Randolph Road, crossing over New Hampshire Avenue.
4. Stay in the left lane, make a left at Fairland Road (left turn only lane).
5. Turn left at Route 29, get in right lane.
6. The next exit is Briggs Chaney Road. Follow the exit ramp up, staying to the right. Make a right onto Briggs Chaney Road.
7. Continue past Castle Blvd and Robey Road. Make the next left at Gates Head Road and turn left into the parking lot. The Eastern Montgomery County Regional Services Center entrance is to the right behind the police sub-station.

From downtown Silver Spring/Silver Spring Metro Station:

1. Proceed north on Route 29/Colesville Road. Continue on Route 29, crossing over the Beltway, and University Blvd and New Hampshire Avenue. Continue on Route 29.
2. Cross over Fairland Road and get into right hand lane.
3. The next exit is Briggs Chaney Road. Follow the exit ramp up, staying to the right. Make a right onto Briggs Chaney Road.
4. Continue past Castle Blvd and Robey Road on Briggs Chaney Road. Make the next left at Gates Head Road and turn left into parking lot. The Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center entrance is to the right, behind the police sub-station.

By Bus: The building is next to the Briggs Chaney Park & ride Lot; served by the Metrobus lines Z6, Z8, Z11 and Z13 and by RideOn Route 39.

Directions from I-495, the Capital Beltway: Take the Colesville Road (Rt 29) exit, going north towards Columbia. Go about 6 miles and take the right exit going east on Briggs Chaney Road. Turn left onto Robey Road and turn right into the facility. (You can also enter from Gateshead Manor Way)
